Financial Aid Cost of Attendance (COA) Budgets

Cost of attendance (COA) budgets are meant to help students reasonably plan for college expenses, including living allowances while completing an education. The budgets below represent the average cost of attendance associated with full-time (15 credit hours per semester) in-district attendance during the fall and spring semesters at Jefferson College. They include both direct costs (paid directly to the college) and indirect costs (not paid to the college) used to determine eligibility for need-based financial aid.  A student cannot receive a total amount of financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study, that exceeds their cost of attendance budget.  When less than full-time, components are reduced.  Students in all 1st 8 week or all 2nd 8 week courses have smaller budgets, since their period of enrollment is shorter.
